Welcome to Church Court Day Nursery, an outreach ministry of First Church of God, with general offices in Anderson, Indiana.

Church Court Day Nursery was founded in 1959, by Rev. William Geisler and Miss Gladys Cormany, who recognized a growing need for childcare in the Roanoke Valley. As one of the longest standing Christian Child Care facilities in Roanoke, we exist to serve families in our community by providing quality child care programs which meet the physical, intellectual, emotional, and spiritual needs of our children.

We believe in parental involvement and that parents are an integral part of our childcare and preschool programs. Therefore, we feel that caregivers and families should work together to provide an environment that facilitates the growth of your child into a physically and emotionally healthy young person.

Definition of Classes

Church Court accepts children from the age of 6 weeks through 12 years.

Each child will be accepted into a specific program.  The parent and the Director must approve any change in classroom assignment.  Class assignments are as follows:

• Infant Class:  6 weeks to 18 months
• Toddler Class:  ages 18 months to age 2 1/2 yrs
• Pre K Class:  ages 2 1/2 yrs to age 3 yrs
• Pre K I:  3 yrs to 4 yrs
• Pre K II:  4 yrs to 5 yrs
• School Age Program:  5 years old (Kindergarten) through 12 years old.
• Summer Day Camp:  5 years old (Kindergarten) through 12 years old.

Church Court also provides a Before and After School Program to school age children from Kindergarten through age 12.
